I left DU

just long enough to take a shower and have a cup of coffee. I'm back now.

I may not post a lot, but I've been around for just under nine years, visiting multiple times a day to read the latest political news and views. Even when things get a little contentious and crazy, I always come back to DU as a source of information, inspiration, and involvement. I often learn things here that don't show up in the media for days, if ever, and I can't foresee a time that I'll ever completely leave.

Thanks, DU members, for those times that you've helped me to stay sane and focused, and for being a great sounding board for those times when I just can't keep my mouth shut. You may not know me, but I feel like many of you have been my political "family" for a long time.
