'We got involved in Afghanistan probably helped create, indirectly, ideas that led to 9/11-That’s life

Did Bill Kristol really just say this?

Because I thought they 'hate us cause of our freedum'

And if this is the case, as they are also suggesting we created ISIS with our interference in Iraq and Syria...

HOW THE FUCK can they possibly suggest any future 'help' for the middle east or anywhere really?

AT the same time, millions are starving, unemployed in this country....and the warmongers call them takers while they want to 'help' the poor Iraqis.

We need to hold some bastards accountable because sociopaths do not stop themselves, they only grow stronger when enabled.

Presidents who do not prosecute known war criminals are just as guilty as the war criminals themselves.

B: Regret what? That secret operation was an excellent idea. It had the effect of drawing the Russians into the Afghan trap and you want me to regret it? The day that the Soviets officially crossed the border, I wrote to President Carter, essentially: “We now have the opportunity of giving to the USSR its Vietnam war." Indeed, for almost 10 years, Moscow had to carry on a war that was unsustainable for the regime , a conflict that bought about the demoralization and finally the breakup of the Soviet empire.

Q: And neither do you regret having supported Islamic fundamentalism, which has given arms and advice to future terrorists?

B : What is more important in world history? The Taliban or the collapse of the Soviet empire? Some agitated Moslems or the liberation of Central Europe and the end of the cold war?

Sure, a lot of people got killed, some were tortured, war crimes occurred, but whaddyagonnado? We can go back and forth all day long, discussing who tortured who, who's national sovereignty was violated, and who got a buttload of money for running the whole scam, but the truth of the matter is the neocons are damn mad, too, so let's just agree that everybody made mistakes and blame those dirty fucking hippies, mmmkay?

Now, instead of looking backwards to the past, let's all look forward to the future, and figure out how we're going to deal with those barbarians in ISIS, because they need some serious killing, those barbarians. Holding hostages and stuff. Barbarians! And before you ask, Nosey Rosie, Guantanamo is different.

It was about oil always about oil still is today.

The USA and UK has been fucking around the ME for over 50 years now and every time it does not turn out the way the 1% think it will. Every fucking time

Want to stop terrorism stop creating terrorists by overthrowing and meddling in other countries business. Get the f out of countries we do not belong in.

Until we get out and stop messing with other countries we will deservedly be attacked by terrorists.

The project to arm and finance the Mujahideen in Afghanistan to fight the Soviets, started in 1979 under Carter by Zbigniew Brzezinski.

"Critics assert that funding the mujahideen played a role in causing the September 11 attacks".
