Audio captured at time of Michael Brown shooting

video at link....

(CNN) -- A company whose video chat service apparently captured audio of Michael Brown's shooting said Thursday the recording was created at the time the Missouri teenager was killed this month.

The revelation from Glide appears to bolster a man's claim that he inadvertently recorded audio of gunfire at the time a police officer shot and killed the 18-year-old Brown in the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson on August 9.

The video was created at 12:02:14 p.m. that day, Glide said. Brown, who was unarmed, was shot by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson shortly after noon.

"A Glide user living nearby was simply using the Glide app on their smartphone exactly as it was designed -- to instantly communicate with a friend through our real-time video texting service. Simultaneously, they also captured audio in the background of the gunshots allegedly fired at Michael Brown," the company said.

"It's the pause that gives most concern in a police shooting, especially with an unarmed victim, because at this point Mr. Brown is defenseless -- he has no weapon," said Chestnut, who represented the family of Jonathan Ferrell.

If technology everywhere is the answer, then more technology in more everywhere is the next step. This cannot end well.

Here's the original cell phone video, recorded right after it happened:

There are multiple places throughout the video where you can hear people (possibly eyewitnesses) in the background say that the police fired on Michael Brown after he was already down. Some of it is hearsay but some of the people sound like they might be actual eyewitnesses.

In the video, you can see the trail of brains in a straight line from the top of his head, which would seem, to me, to indicate that Michael Brown was shot in the head after already being down on the ground.

My transcript:

Voice of guy recording the video at the beginning - "Killed him for no reason… They just kilt this 'n*gga' for no reason…

Voice of guy recording the video @ :57 -
What did he do? What did the dude do?… Man, he dead as a motherfucker…

Voice of guy taking the video @ 2:24 - I heard the gunshots… came outside with my phone… that's the 'n*gga' laying in the middle of the street, dead…brains all over the motherfuckin' street. I would like to have known who this motherfucker is…

Male voice (possible eyewitness) in the background @ 2:38 - "He had his hands up,… and he hit the ground and he still fired on him."

Male voice (possible eyewitness) in the background @ 3:42 - "No reason! He's on the ground and they still shot him!"

Voice of guy recording the video (repeating what he heard from witnesses) @ 4:58 -
"Police killed dude… Police kilt him, yo… Said he had his hands up and everything…they still shot him. He fell on the ground; they stood over him and shot him some more..."

The newly released audio with the sound of 6 gunshots, a pause and then 4 more gunshots, seems to verify the eyewitness accounts in the early cell phone video.

The newly released audio SUPPORTS the original eyewitness video.

After the pause, the cop stood over him and continued shooting... The pattern of the brain splatter appears to confirm these eyewitness accounts.
