Allegheny County Council to vote on displaying 'In God We Trust' on plaque

At a Committee on Government Reform meeting Thursday night, the group decided 5-1 to present council at its Sept. 9 meeting with an amended resolution that would display that motto, among others, on a plaque in the Gold Room, located on the fourth floor of the courthouse, 436 Grant St.

2. Because their god is so weak that they have to defend him/her/it any and all

slights.

Which is strange seeing that if god is all powerful and knowing god himself or herself, could easily place the words on any place he/she/it wanted.

Not much different then those who have to defend everything the POTUS does or says on the internet even though he has an entire staff of highly paid people who spin what he says and does 24/7. However people seem to think they are the personal internet defender of all thing POTUS.

Say something negative that is true about the POTUS here and the defenders will swarm on you twisting and spinning every word.

Say something negative and true about religion mainly Christianity and you get the exact same type of spin.

People do not want to hear or see the truth, they would rather live in ignorant bliss it is easier and less taxing on the brain.
