Abercrombie & Fitch dropping logos from clothes

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is finally shedding its traditional logo-focused apparel, clothes that made the brand one of the most sought after among teens in the past two decades.

The company's preppy t-shirts and sweatshirts have fallen out of favor with students who are more inclined to spend their allowances on cheaper and trendier clothes offered by chains such as Forever 21, Inditex's Zara and H&M.

Abercrombie is trying to revamp its image after Jeffries stirred controversy last year by suggesting the company's clothes were made for “cool” and “attractive” kids and not for “fat” people.

The company has since expanded its merchandise to include larger sizes for women. It has also doubled down on more fashionable clothing and slashed prices to win back teen customers who have cut back spending in a tepid job market.

for a big company.

The company would need to pay me before I would wear their logo. Maybe today's teens are thinking the same way.

the fundies with their "Allergic to Algebra" stuff?

A Forever 21 shirt with the words “Allergic to Algebra” printed on the front is the latest shirt to draw criticism for its seemingly anti-education message for girls and teenagers.
...
One shirt blatantly declares “Skool sucks” and another shirt has a list on the front that reads: “A+=amazing, B=brilliant, C=cool, D=delightful, F=fabulous.” The website’s tagline for selling the shirt is “F doesn’t always mean fail!”

One shirt seemed promising with the message, ”I heart school” emblazoned on the front, but a photo of the back reveals the rest of the message: “not…”

So clothes with sexist 'proud to be stupid' messages are replacing over-priced logo-ware?
