I remember seeing this on a lobby TV at my then job and googling her. She was yet another Republican at the time either indicted, under investigation, or just knee deep in scandal. I thought, "What the hell is McCain thinking?"

first impression, and Princess Dumbass of the Northwoods failed in that about as spectacularly as is possible. Grampy couldn't have his BFF Joey LIEberman, so he let Bill Kristol talk him into Palin, mostly because Kristol had a schoolboy crush on her. That all worked out so well.
