So, George Zimmerman has gone rogue.

Or maybe he is just continuing a lifelong pattern. He has fled the state of Florida, he has eschewed counsel from the people who were, however temporarily acting as his attorneys, he is seeking advice from extremist media figures (who has called it for Hannity seeking relief from under-oath testimony by claiming journalistic privileged?), he has tried to meddle with the legal process by trying to directly contact the special prosecutor.

The guy is most surely armed.
The guy thinks he is above the law.
The guy is on the run.
The guy has no problem blaming others for his actions.
The guy is prone to violence.

This is what "going rogue" looks like, IMO.

Yeah, I don't think the ex-nonjudgenonattorneymagistrate daddy's money would be enough for That particular special prosecutor. But do not underestimate the other resources that the supporters of this particular could-be sociopath killer could muster. Beer and travel money aplenty.

I wonder if he'd be willing to go to jail to fight a subpoena, as other real journalists before him have done. I doubt it, but it'd be interesting as hell to see it come to that.

I would expect him to float the idea and talk about it a lot. He's a TV guy, after all.

Some of those people have guns, are on the run, believe themselves to be above the law and have a history of violence.

I cannot believe that he somehow went into hiding and nobody knows where he is.

They will not take responsibility if he hurts someone else while on the run, though.

It's just hard for me to believe that the prosecuting attorney doesn't know where he is. I'll bet she does.

...I think it would be a goddamn good idea if someone in law enforcement know where the hell he is. But since his ex-attorney said he was not in Fla, I would think the FBI is now involved.

If the latest reports are true, and charges are looming, then once he has been charged I hope someone can put their hands on him but quick. This one does not seem to have a functioning off switch, knowhatImean?

wrong. I read that Zimmerman's father had lived in Virginia and was a sort of justice of the peace or minor "judge" (I assume without a law degree) of some sort there.
