UK Newspaper The Mirror Predicts: "Britain could bomb ISIS on 9/11"

The UK's next general election is in May 2015 and it's looking more and more like David Cameron's chomping on the bit for a desperately needed version of Thatcher's Falklands war, that helped her win the election back in 1983.

Britain could launch air strikes against Islamic State terrorists on the anniversary of 9/11, David Cameron suggested today.

Speaking at the Nato summit in Wales, the Prime Minister said the RAF could bomb the militants if a new Iraqi government requests the move after it is formed on Thursday.

Earlier he said: “We need to show real resolve and determination, we need to use every power and everything in our armoury, with our allies, with those on the ground to make sure we do everything we can to squeeze this dreadful organisation out of existence.”

Ministers here faced calls for a debate on military action as they called a Commons debate on the crisis for Wednesday.
