President Obama didn't want to be POTUS at nine years old

Not the best news article (the British ones are better--I'm biased)

"In response to one boy in an art class, Obama said he didn't think he would be president when he was the boy's age. Instead, Obama thought he'd be an architect, though we're not sure that was his real goal when Obama was heard saying he "wanted to be a professional basketball player."

In Dreams From My Father, he recounted an event where he spoke at an anti-apartheid demonstration. Afterwards he said something along the lines of, "that's the last speech I'll ever give."
Obviously our ideas of who we are and what we want\hope to be change.
