General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsIs there anyone that is against Net Neutrality
There is no benefit to individuals from the preferred provider fast lane There is no argument in favor except to increase corporate profits and to give corporations and the government more power over what they want us to see.
Unless someone is, or is related to someone that is, part of a company that benefits from losing net neutrality, I have not heard a single person in favor.
I have not heard a single argument in favor of the loss of net neutrality that isn't for the benefit of a corporation.
Today we will see those in favor of net neutrality show us what it would be like should we lose it. Take action now to insure we don't take yet another step toward a true corpocracy.
TAKE ACTION

Imagine being a student trying to write a paper on the history of the Civil Rights movement. However, educational sites, university libraries, etc just won't come up in a search. Or, if you go directly to the site and search within it, it takes hours for the right document to load.
There is not one scenario that works in favor of the public
Thank you!

I hope everyone takes action on this. If we did it last time, we need to do it again

(1,643 posts)I know a few that believe "net neutrality" is "just move over-regulation" and an assault to personal freedom.
I swear. I am not making this up. I was aghast.

(17,997 posts)For real? OMG THEY'LL "buy" anything as long as they're paid.
A friend of mine was able to infiltrate a group of them on Facebook. They're very organized, they do actually pay people to do stuff like this. To sell the Koch agenda. I say Koch agenda as a catch all for the corporate pigs.
WOW! Thanks for blowing my mind this morning!
