(31,893 posts)I heard some political analyst discussing the probable outcome of the vote yesterday on NPR, and he said that the rural areas and outlying islands were more conservative and very much trending toward voting 'no' - so Orkney's vote is no surprise, I guess.
Even though it's not my fight, and there are absolutely no consequences to me personally in how this vote comes out, I still find myself having a wholly emotional, totally non-rational desire to see the 'yes' votes win out.
Ah well, no matter...
