Of course, George Zimmerman doesn't belong in "the hood" any more than he belonged in the Sanford community with a loaded gun, with an NRA license to hunt and kill humans. He is what is worst about America. He is the embodiment of racial prejudice and corporate interest. Armed with Hannity hatred and ALEC ammo in an ad nauseam "stand your ground" merry go round. The Old West on steroids in an urban assault vehicle, using a race-sensitive GPS. Zimmerman is America's ugly underbelly. He feigned concern for the community, only to tear the "hood" asunder. He thought he beat the rap, but when he looked in the mirror he saw himself as he is, a no good in the hood, a misplaced grim reaper who has only himself to blame. Now, maybe justice will be done. The first step has been taken. Let this be a high profile lesson for all of us to remember Trayvon Martin by. A lesson to build a better future with.
