Since the UK was not voting, this was not a victory of UK over Scotland. It was a victory of Scots who wanted to stay United over Scots who wanted to splinter.

if it was a state, it would be the 21st largest state in the US, or maybe 22nd. Somewhere around the population of Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Should THOSE states have self determination too? Secede from the US and pretend they are "nations"? Yeah, let's chop the UK up into little nations of 5 million people, and instead of a United States we could have 59 little "nations".

I'd rather see ONE world government than a world divided up into 1,320 little independent fiefdoms.
