WATCH: Straight Dad Punched For Calling Out Antigay Slurs
A 27-year-old straight man and father of two in Sioux Falls, S.D., suffered a head injury after telling a passing woman that using the word "faggot" was "rude," according to Sioux Falls news station KELO-TV.
Drew Bartscher says he and two friends were leaving Wiley's Tavern in Sioux Falls just before 2 a.m. on Sunday, when he heard a woman use an antigay slur to refer to men she perceived as gay.
"I hear a woman… make a comment to her boyfriend," Bartscher told the local news station. "Along the lines of, 'These F-ing F-words,' referring to homosexuals."
Bartscher said he was polite, but did confront the woman and told her "it's rude" to use such derogatory language.
"Then I hear this guy yell at me, 'What the F did you say to my girlfriend?!'" Bartscher recalled. "I turned just a little bit and then the next thing I know, my friends are picking me up off the sidewalk, [because] I had gotten punched pretty good."

I'ts a damn shame this happened to him for standing up for the LGBTQ community. But is is people like him that help us a lot and for that kind sir
