Did Morning Jerk just hand Peggy Nooner her hat?

Switching to Current to the Bill Press Show and I caught a minute or two of Morning Jerk and pubbie pundit Peggy Nooner. She was all up in arms about Hilary Rosen saying she is an Obama administration spokesperson. Morning Jerk thought this whole thing had been blown out of proportion and asked her how Hilary was a spokesperson. Well, Nooner, gave Morning Jerk 'the look' and proceeded to tell him that Hilary had been to the White House 35 times and had met with the President. Morning Jerk then told her, "So have we (Mika and him) been to the White House 35 times and met personally with the President." That didn't make them spokespeople.

Put that in your pipe, Nooner, and smoke it.

I smiled and moved on to Bill Press.

This shows you how concerned the rushpublicans are about the gender gap THEY created. Rosen...who is a paid talking head for Chicken Noodle Nuze stepped into a trap Rove and his ilk set to crank up the "poutrage" machine. There's no one whose better at playing up that faux outrage than Nooner. She comes across with that pissed off prom queen look and is supposed to be "likeable" and "believeable"...in short, another skirt for Millard to hide under.

The rushpublicans know they need to "bridge" this gap or not only will Mittens get his ass handed to him in November but it will ripple down the ticket...especially in close house and senate races. As usual Nooner misses the nuance (even though Mika tried her best to help her) as she poorly plays the Rovian game of trying to turn a weakness into a strength and make it sound like this Administration (who Rosen has never been a part of) as what her inept and corrupt party actually is.

The worst stretch here was trying to say how many times Rosen visited the White House as some kinda proof that she was affiliated with the Obama administration. If that's the barometer, then what say she about the many visits Jeffrey Gannon/Gunkert made during the boooooooshie years?

Read the statement - she has been to the White House 35 times and has met the President. Nothing about how many times she's met the President. I hate giving Joe any credit whatsoever but he handed that hack her head.
