Are right wingers mostly sadists?

It seems that when it comes to left vs right, the right ALWAYS sides with harming other people, making people suffer, and ignoring people in need (unless it serves as an excuse for corruption.) Right Wing capitalists often make money in ways that leads to the harm of many people, and they hate regulation which is supposed to protect people. Right wing politicians love to divide people and attack the less fortunate. They love war, which hurts and kills many people in other countries. They embrace economic policies that harm many American people for the benefit of the rich. The Religious Right loves the old testament, that paints God in a very harsh way, and they ignore the new testamant, that preaches about love. They believe that when it considers the country, only the state, commerce, and institutions like religion matter, not the wellbeing of its citizens.

It seems awfully suspicious that they love to harm people, or at least to have an excuse to. They are willful ignorants if you try to push them away from their ideologies, which indicates that they are attached to such way of thinking.

They are scared of social change, scared of minorities, scared of a changing demographic, scared of women having rights, scared of strict behavioral rules not being followed, scared someone they don't like will get something from the government. Scared of going to hell unless they can keep all these things they are afraid of from happening.

These people are scared to death.

Most of us do, but conservative politics seems to go hand-in-hand with schadenfreude, and a delight in seeing others put down/paupered/killed/raped. We are not immune, but mean is the order of the day in their politics.

Insecurity may lie at the heart of it. Tearing down others enhances our own status, we may think, even if we've never laid eyes on the target du jour.

and this makes them lash out at anything they have been told to fear or do not/cannot understand. And the list of the latter is nearly infinite. It's all about trying to exercise power in a world of which they have been brainwashed to be terrified of EVERYTHING. Mostly by churches, Limbaugh and Faux.

They believe the ends justify the means, they are largely minus any empathy, many are narcissistic sociopaths. They often use religion but generally only what they cherry pick from the Old Testament.

I got mine the Hell with everyone else, that's their basic credo.
