Fact: Ann Romney hasn't been a stay-at-home Mom for over a decade....if not longer

Ann Romney is an empty nester, and has been such for over a decade.

Her sons are between the ages of 33 to 41.

Doing the math, and even giving her credit for being a stay-at-home Mom of
a young adult away at college, it means that her last child turned 21 in 2000...
and he must have left home at 18...which takes us to 1997!

So I don't see Ann Romney as a stay-at-home mom at all,
not anymore!

I am married, have a child, and must work outside the home. It isn't an option. My mother is a Grandmother of my son and my sister's baby daughter. She now helps out financially with us (since we are so far in distance from her) and with baby-sitting for my sister... My sister is only able to work (which she desperately wanted to be the stay at home mom, however, her husband's and her's insurance and income come from her teaching position), because of free help from her in-laws and my parents.

Most women and men would like the security to know that they could have 1 person as a stay at home parent. If we were like other countries that allowed for paid maternity/ paternity leave up to a year... Or had the audacity to provide daycare centers (sort of like we do schools), or offered before and after school programs so parents knew their kids were in safe hands until they could pick them up (not paying an arm and a leg for day care after school let out).

What if we had sane working hours like 30 hrs a week, since many families are all out at school or working. At least then parents have more time raising their own families and having enough time at the end of the day to spend quality time other than cooking, homework, and relaxing a tiny bit before doing it all over again. It doesn't make sense to be so "productive" or be such a "rich" nation if no one but the super rich are the only one's who enjoy the spoils.

Its time for everyone in the 99% to join together and demand a world that makes sense, doesn't ruin the world for the next generation, and doesn't make workers in another country work insane slave jobs that you buy from because its the only thing available or affordable... Also allows people to eat, have access to health care, a roof over their heads, and a quality life (maybe not Romney style, but most don't care about things like that).

So Ann is still a stay-at-home mom.

It takes a very long time to raise Republican children.

That may be why they are spoiled teens into their 60's, elephants develop very very slowly.

Should we believe that she was a stay at home mom like the average stay at home moms? Exactly what duties did she perform and which ones didn't she perform on a regular basis? From all accounts there were nannies and other help. So how much cooking, house cleaning, laundry, driving boys to school, grocery shopping, etc. did she do? What about the tasks that Mitt performed at home? Did he take out the garbage, do yard maintenance, etc.?

And if they try to suggest that she had it difficult raising the boys when she had MS I would call bullshit. The youngest was 17 and she still had hired help.
