It's back! The World's Greatest Drag Race returns with 10 of the world's best supercars and sports cars facing off in an epic quarter-mile sprint for glory... and ultimate bragging rights! This year's field includes all 10 contenders from Motor Trend's 2014 Best Driver's Car Powered by Mobil 1 (https://www.youtube.com/user/Official...).

We have the Alfa Romeo 4C, BMW i8, BMW M4, Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, Ford Fiesta ST, Jaguar F-Type R Coupe, Nissan GT-R Nismo, Porsche 911 Turbo S, Subaru WRX STI & Volkswagen Golf GTI -- all gathered together on an abandoned airstrip at El Toro Marine Base to find out which car is the fastest. Obviously these 10 competitors display a wide range of power and performance, so why do we continue lining them up for one, over-the-top drag race?... Because We Can!

Thought it was gonna be about new season of drag race.....that being said I watched this on tv. Porsche of course wins and why did they put the vw in, just makes it looks slow, which it isn't and why no 458?

I don't really know what the criteria were for selection, they threw an affordable Ford in there.

More interesting to me would be to see line-ups of all EVs, or all hybrids, or affordable cars, line-ups of efficient cars, line-ups of practical cars.

Sure, fun, cars, but how this fits the general discussion SOP is lost on me, it's more of an DU Automobile Enthusiasts group OP.

I guess I just disagree with the concept that this is the Worlds Greatest Drag Race.
