What "not crossing the picket line" means to Donnie Wahlberg


Don’t know if anyone has been watching the reality show “The Wahlbergs” but this is a great clip of Donnie Wahlberg talking about his dad going on strike, and how much him and his brothers admired him for not crossing the picket line and stand up for what’s right.

Marty Walsh, current Mayor of Boston is a second generation union guy, too.

I posted here only recently that my parents would have slit their wrists before crossing a picket line. I've been a union member whenever I was in a slot that had that option and carried many a picket, both on my own jobs and when others were picketing.

Solidarity. We need more of it.
