Biden in trouble for his remarks about Turkey, etc!

Joe was really off the leash at Harvard. Perhaps his comments about our coalition allies were meant to get certain awkward truths out into the light. Perhaps they were a gaffe?

http://www.hurriyetdailynews.com/turkish-president-erdogan-demands-apology-if-biden-uttered-isil-remarks.aspx?pageID=238&nID=72531&NewsCatID=510&utm_content=buffere67ad&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has demanded an apology from U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, if his reported comments about Turkey's "mistakes that paved the way for the rise of the jihadists" were true.

"If Biden told these words, then he will be history for me. I never uttered such remarks," Erdoğan said after the morning prayer for Eid al-Adha -the festival of sacrifice observed by Muslims all over the world- in Istanbul on early Oct. 4.

"President Erdoğan told me, he is an old friend, said you were right, we let too many people through, now we are trying to seal the border," Biden had said during a speech on foreign policy at Harvard Kennedy School on Oct. 2, while complaining about the conduct of his country's regional allies that led to the rise of the Islamic State and Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).

"I was Prime Minister at the time. We absolutely didn't provide even the smallest amount of support to any terrorist organization, including the ISIL. Nobody can prove it. Foreign fighters never crossed from Turkey to Syria. There were people coming to Turkey as tourists and went to Syria, but nobody can suggest that they were armed while crossing the border," Erdoğan said.

Some of Biden's comments on the Arab members of the coalition who aided extremists:

The gulf states, the US and Turkey gitting the Syrian Civil war ginned up. Isreal helped at a deeper level.

We are run by incompetents. The have a war loving, fairy tale level of understanding of the region.

And I think the end of his and Obama's term in January 2017 will be a good time to call it a day.

Did Biden get confused? I also wondered how Biden could have forgotten our support for Taliban in Afghanistan (to fight against Soviets) and our invading Iraq (which didn't have al Quaeda) until we started bombing and killing civilians (rape and murder in Fallujah) plus torturing and humiliating innocents and their religion incarcerated in GITMO. I thought that was bizarre on Biden's part. Like it's Turkey's fault we invaded Iraq, Libya and are now working on Syria? Give me a Break!

He's uttered quite a few gaffe's recently.

13. K&R....Joe Biden is Clueless....according to his views in this Address to Harvard..

It's very sad we have Clueless running our Government. I have no idea how we fix this at this point.

.......Peace Protests... or just GOTV for MORE AND BETTER DEMOCRATS.

I hope all DU'ers will watch this ...but, with only 12 Replies......my hope fades because no one wants to listen to their leaders act like this when they have intelligence but think they can further distort what's going on in Endless Wars and keep Average Americans Paying for this kind of DISTORTION that was revealed in his message at Harvard!

to try to say that all the "actors in the Middle East" were "Funding Terrorists that caused ISIS/ISIL/IS when in fact WE were supplying the Arms, Fighter Jets and Ammunition to keep the Gulf States well armed in our Fight to Bring DEMOCRACY TO THE ME...by overthrowing Iraq, Libya and now onto Syria, Iran (according to Netanyahu's address yesterday) and eventually to Russia. That's already following our Drone Attacks killing Innocents with "Collateral Damage" in Pakistan, Yemen and Somalia.

We have a HUGE "Africom Base" in Northern Italy filled with fighting forces ready to swarm into Africa where we are already sending Fighting Forces and the "101st Airborne" to Fight EBOLA!

We are in ENDLESS WAR as both President Obama and VP Biden are telling us. War that might not even end in many of our lifetimes depending on Baby Boomer Lifespans.

So...here we are. And Biden blames all this NOT on the WEAPONS our MIC Supplied to the ME...but the very ACTORS (like the Saudi's and UAI) that we give Arms and Constant Support to!

And no one sees the hypocrisy of this? The Irony?
