• A heavy progressive or graduated income tax

• Centralisation of credit by means of a national bank

• Centralisation of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State

• Free education for all children in public schools

• Abolition of children's factory labour

One the other hand I am surprised that more conservatives today do not use the Communist Manifesto to denounce things like public education, or the income tax.

Fortunately they are a pretty ignorant lot.
