Holes appear in terror allegations against two Australian Muslims
One month ago, the Australian media was abuzz with allegations that two Australian Muslim men were preparing to carry out a public beheading against a random passerby in support of the Islamic state.
But problems are starting to appear in the police account. For one thing, a sword that was seized by police before being photographed and circulated widely in the media, is now believed to be a plastic decorative sword, of the sort that is very common in Shia households.
That leads to the second problem. The two accused are Shia Muslims, and therefore very unlikely to be any sort of supporters for the so-called Islamic State...
