Would you vote for Alison Grimes if she was running as an Independent and there was no Democrat in the race?
Do you think she would have too many "non-Democratic" positions to vote for?
There would really be no difference between her and Mitch McConnell?
Her refusal to support Barack Obama "disqualifies" her, just as Chuck Todd said?

(14,449 posts)And we don't know if she did or didn't. I would imagine a few voters were upset Hillary was beat and voted for Romney or didn't vote at all. Heck maybe she didn't vote. Possible?

(42,766 posts)I'm sure Ms Grimes is eminently qualified, no negative reflection on her intended.

(10,044 posts)and what it required of her as far as Obama was concerned.
She looked pained about it. And nobody asked her but she fully volunteered that she totally supported Hillary Clinton in 2008 and what was that about? Don't these 2008 supporters still understand that she lost and has not announced that she will run again?
Funny times, these.

(17,469 posts)it just cedes the race to McConnell by giving him a huge hammer to beat her with.
