There is no one with a bigger passion for politics than Chuck. His unique ability to deliver that passion with razor sharp analysis and infectious enthusiasm makes him the perfect next generation moderator of this beloved broadcast. Chuck will ensure that Meet the Press is the beating heart of politics, the place where newsmakers come to make news, where the agenda is set. We have some exciting plans to evolve and update the broadcast under Chuck's leadership that we will be sharing with you shortly.

http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/chuck-todd-takes-helm-meet-press-n180916

Course, we might have to take her with the ol grain of salt considering what she had to say about David Gregory in same article..

I want to express my sincerest thanks to David, who, after the death of Tim Russert, led Meet the Press for almost 6 years. Under his leadership the show has had a string of exclusives, and David has shown a remarkable gift for holding leaders to account and getting answers on issues that matter to our audience. He is an outstanding journalist whose sharp intellect and quick sense of humor have made him a pleasure to work with. I know you all join me in expressing our deepest gratitude and in wishing him the very best.

After the tremendously poor ratings his rein at MTP is getting these days, and after he fails to deliver McConnell's race for the Republican party and the Koch brothers, he will be ceremoniously thrown out of that chair on MTP.

He will be totally useless to all of them forever after this election, and known as just another biased "reporter", so why would they keep a hack that can't even use his bully pulpit of a tv show to save McConnell's ass in the Senate for the Republicans?

Todd disqualified himself last weekend on MTP by being so narrow minded.
That is not how real journalists or political pundits act.

Todd is no longer qualified to give political commentary on anyone anymore!!

Another Big Storm Headed To Hawaii's Big Island

Updated: 10/14/2014 9:59 pm EDT

"HONOLULU (AP) — Tropical Storm Ana is forecast to strengthen to a hurricane this week as it moves toward the southern edge of Hawaii's Big Island, which was hit by a destructive tropical storm two months ago, meteorologists said Tuesday.

Ana is expected to become a Category 1 hurricane — the lowest level, with winds of 74 to 95 mph — on Wednesday morning, National Weather Service meteorologist Chris Brenchley said.

The storm is forecast to clip the Big Island's rural Puna district on Saturday afternoon. The storm's effects may be felt up to 100 miles outside its center, so the entire Big Island would be affected if Ana stays on its projected path, Brenchley said.

The storm is expected to pass about 70 miles south of Maui the next morning.

Brenchley added a lot of uncertainty remains because Ana is still far from the island chain."

I have one of those old-fashioned, blow-up dolls that consists of the head and the upper body of a person.
It is designed so that you can fill it with air and then put it in the passenger seat of your car in order to fool people that are driving in the next lane and get next to your car while they are going down the road the same direction as you are going.

My blow-up doll is of Dick Nixon.
My sister gave it to me one year for my birthday many years ago.

Nowadays, I get it out every Halloween and put it in the front window with a flashlight shining on his face from about a foot below his chin!
Oooh, spooky!

Little kids always ask me "who is that guy in the window", and I tell them, "that's the boogeyman!!!"

To recap: If you're a Kentucky Democrat and you don't answer a straight-forward question, you may as well take your name off the ballot, according to Beltway journalists. But if you're a Kentucky Republican and you do the same thing, it's mostly crickets from the same pundits.

http://mediamatters.org/blog/2014/10/13/the-kentucky-senate-race-and-the-medias-double/201129

And~

Can frog pee cause warts?

his urban legend has been debunked so often and so consistently on the Internet, it is almost redundant to repeat it.

Here are just some of the sources - including many medical experts and frog experts.

National Geographic
"Warts are caused by a human virus, not frogs or toads," says dermatologist Jerry Litt. But the wartlike bumps behind a toad's ears can be dangerous. These parotoid glands contain a nasty poison that irritates the mouths of some predators and often the skin of humans. So toads may not cause warts, but they can cause other nasties. It's best not to handle these critters—warts and all!

Looking at you, Chucky Todd.. As has been said before.. Alison Grimes refused to say who she voted for and it's not relevant to this campaign.. but, mitch lies about Obamacare and was one of the leaders in shutting down the government costing our country $24 Billion and he's quite qualified to run.
