... naw... they gotta get this in check.

I thought this virus was only taken in by someone who had DIRECT CONTACT with fluids.

I'm sure NONE of the nurses actually PURPOSEFULLY came into direct contact with the virus

something isn't adding up here

polio. Swimming pools were shut down along with theaters and other crowd gathering places. Ebola and Polio are different I know but precautions can never hurt..

Since I can't fly now that I'm working a low wage job that doesn't offer heath insurance for the first several months, along with no sick or vacation days.

guns in stores, guns on campuses, guns in airports, guns in malls, guns are everywhere, Ebola, not so much.

Viruses suck, I've had a lifetime of braces, pain, ridicule, abuse, teasing, pain, weakness, problems buying shoes, fired for being disabled, and did I mention pain? 58,000 American's mostly children got this virus 1954. The hospital told my mother it was the flu and wanted to send me on my merry way. Gee, that sounds familiar?

I'd fly in a heartbeat - but only if I were going to Japan.

14. 5. Driving is far more dangerous

To quote one study "Researchers at Cornell University found that because more people drove instead of taking a plane in the three months after 9/11, there were an additional 725 fatalities from car crashes than during the same period in the previous year. A study by Michigan’s Transportation Research Institute took a different tack and came up with a higher figure -1,018 more traffic fatalities than would have been expected based on earlier trends."

So between 725 and 1,018 people additional people died because of fear of getting on a plane. People are far more safe flying on a plane than driving but some people will start doing that.
