I just cancelled my Hulu subscription.

I read that they are refusing to run pro choice ads.

If anyone else has done the same, please post here and maybe we can send them a message they will understand. They will not get another penny from me and hopefully many others.

If they are staying out of it altogether, then I have no issue with them. They are an entertainment site, after all.

And for them.

You are free to use their services or not.
They are free to run whatever ads they choose to.

They appear to be running ads from both pro choice and anti choice candidates. They, however appear to be avoiding ads related to this specific ballot measure. If that is true it explains why they specifically say Hulu wouldn't run an ad opposing the ballot measure but point out they run ads for anti choice candidates, which are two separate issues.

abortion even in case of rape, incest, or if the mother's life is in danger.

I like hulu.. I don't have a tv and it's the only way to watch some shows I like.

not for political reasons, but after realizing I can watch so much stuff on netflix or amazon without all the ads. I miss some of the foreign drama - hulu really does have the best selection of that - but tv isn't such a big deal, really.

I still watch other stuff on the regular Hulu. If Hulu Plus opted me out of ads, I might have kept it, but no. So it's not worth it to me.

I do Netflix, both streaming and DVDs, and I can watch a lot of stuff for free at the various network sites.

Don't have a regular TV and I don't miss it at all.

I have too many shows I watch and have been traveling too much. I haven't seen any political commercials on Hulu and hope I don't ever see them. It is bad enough that we see ten every commercial break as it is.

I applaud them for this action and hope they continue. Say no to all political ads Hulu!!!!!!
