The GOP Is Like An Old Hollywood Set

The GOP's policies are like an old Hollywood set. The kinds of programs that they would run are like walking down the set of an old Hollywood western. You see all the buildings like the saloon, the hardware store of that era, the sheriff's office, the church, and all the other establishments in the town on main street. And then you decide to walk into the saloon and as you pass through the door you find yourself in a field or a parking lot. There was no there there.

All the town is is a bunch of storefronts and there are no insides. That is how the GOP wants and designs programs and legislation. The pass programs where there are so many hurdles and regulations no one qualifies for the program. Or they pass legislation that is just nothing but words but do nothing.

The GOP is no more than a cruel storefront party owned by the billionaires. And they have fooled so many people. What they value is just a mirage or a phantom no more real than a dream.

The real truth is that they are a nightmare.
