White House acting press secretary Larry Speakes, and some of the reporters at press briefings, found the crisis to be quite the joking matter.

(12,081 posts)Right now we don't understand ebola therefore we fear it. The really unfortunate thing is is back then they really didn't have the knowledge to understand AIDS. We have the knowledge to understand ebola and yet we still fear it.

When it comes to what the so called majority wants when concerns individual rights and freedom America has a piss poor track record and is wrong the vast majority of times.
