Monologue is over - one worthwhile thing to mention if you didn't see it....
I will paraphrase if you don't mind:
"Republicans don't like the President, even the Democrats running don't want him anywhere near him....
"Gasoline is less than $3 a gallon, unemployment is under 6%, and the Stock Market is breaking records,.....
No wonder everyone's mad at him.."
Now why can't the Dem candidates say that same thing over and over for the last month..?

(17,199 posts)Let's face it, if a white Republican president were presiding over these economic numbers -- Gasoline is less than $3 a gallon, unemployment is under 6%, and the Stock Market is breaking records -- the media and the GOP would be proclaiming "America Is Back!" and "It's Morning in America Again!"
We would have been bombarded with ad after ad after ad touting the GREAT RECOVERY

What's sad is seeing the low-income and meek buy into it. For protection, methinks.
