I was just commenting to Mrs. 1SBM about how the day BEFORE Halloween, there were Xmas commercials and there had not been the "Home for Thanksgiving Hallmark" commercials ... I always look forward to them!

(who are too old for trick or treating but not too old for candy) and there wasn't much there. That section had been taken over entirely by red and green. I mentioned it to the cashier and she was funny about it. "That's so stupid! Can't they just wait until Thanksgiving?!"

Then there's CostCo -- they put Xmas crap up in the summer.

Seems like they're combining black Friday, thanksgiving, and Christmas into one season.

But I did find some cheap Halloween candy WAY WAY WAY in the back behind the Christmas stuff. I online shop in the winter to avoid the crowds. And Black Friday gives me a sense of overwhelming fear. Will not got inside of a store after thanksgiving except for food.

Sunday when I went to the grocery, all of the Halloween candy was shoved into one small area and marked 50% off and what was a large Halloween candy display is now 1/4 Thanksgiving Candy and the rest is X-Mas Candy, it is also in the same isle as the beer so it gets lots of traffic.

CVS was all X-Mas last week too.

and if anyone else has noticed too, they are doing X-Mas music on some Cable Channels already.

is to kill earworms.

You can also approximate the effect by filling your bathtub with icewater & submerging your head for at least 60 seconds.

I can always change the channel:

"It's a small world after all,
It's a small world after all,
It's a small world after all,
It's a small, small world!"

in the first week of October. Artificial trees, gift wrap, lighting, decorations, etc. Didn't have the wood pellet fuel that people are going nuts trying to find, but more than enough Christmas crap to decorate the entire neighborhood. Bah Fucking Humbug.
