How will you spend this evening?

I love election night...it's my Super Bowl.

Will start with chili mac and a nice bottle of cab. Watch Master Chef Jr. More cab. Then turn on cable news to watch the results roll in, scorecard and a glass of scotch in hand.

However, I twist balloons at a restaurant tonight so I don't know when I'll get home and what results will have come in by then.

There won't be any meaningful returns for CA until tomorrow's morning paper...

I WILL sign on to DU before I go to bed, just to see how the rest of the country fared.

if I get to watch until 9 o'clock. Will most likely be here on DU. Oh, and we are cooking one of our turkeys because it is all we have until we get paid tomorrow. So it is turkey sandwiches tonight.

first polls to close. About 7pm (MST) we will start watching the returns. Me, the wife, and 2 of our kids will be watching together.

I'm expecting to be disappointed but I don't see this being the landslide the media is pushing for. Still hoping for a minor victory.

Why not? One way or the other we need to stick together. A friend who's a democratic judge is having a party and by God I'm going.

then straight to bed. I can handle whatever happens better in the morning over coffee. I need a good nights sleep, being neither depressed over losses or excited about victories. Frankly, I am tired of screaming obscenities at the lying republican candidates on TV. I voted this morning and that is all I can do.
I would like to have voted more than once but don't think that is considered a good manners.
