I love election night...it's my Super Bowl.
Will start with chili mac and a nice bottle of cab. Watch Master Chef Jr. More cab. Then turn on cable news to watch the results roll in, scorecard and a glass of scotch in hand.

There won't be any meaningful returns for CA until tomorrow's morning paper...
I WILL sign on to DU before I go to bed, just to see how the rest of the country fared.

I'm expecting to be disappointed but I don't see this being the landslide the media is pushing for. Still hoping for a minor victory.

(3,290 posts)then straight to bed. I can handle whatever happens better in the morning over coffee. I need a good nights sleep, being neither depressed over losses or excited about victories. Frankly, I am tired of screaming obscenities at the lying republican candidates on TV. I voted this morning and that is all I can do.
I would like to have voted more than once but don't think that is considered a good manners.
