Well if we lose the Senate tonight I think

Obama will keep the lid on them. They will hate him even more but I like that prospect. We on the other hand may rally together around the President.
If a SCOTUS seat goes vacant I doubt Obama would nominate a conservative and the repukes will not pass a progressive so maybe it goes vacant for a while.
I don't think Obama will work with the repubs and they won't work with him.
Two years of gridlock. And impeachment would give us President Biden. Can they do a twofer?
We would not get anything passed anyway so we work for 2016. That is the year of my retirement. Hope I get a Dem government to boot.

With republicans holding both houses of congress, they will be on full display before a prez election. The more people see of them, the better.

Collins is a no vote.

Kirk/Toomey/Johnson/Murkowski/Ayotte have to think about their re-elections in 2016.

Those Republicans in swing states/blue states who voted to convict Clinton lost in 2000,
(Roth-DE)(Mack-FL)(Abraham-MI)(Grams-MN)(Gorton-WA).

And they'll use every trick they can to pressure him into caving in as much as possible. I hope he can veto the worst of it. They'll push for impeachment and will probably attach disgusting provisions to bills he can't really afford to veto.

Otoh, they'll overreach- they can't fucking help themselves. And the map in 2016 is very Dem friendly. It'll suck, but in all likelihood be short lived.

Pundits claim. Come January, good bye Harry Reid as Dem Leader. One thing that really pissed us off around this area was old Harry not campaigning for the Dems in our state. Yah,he showed up a couple times and did photo ops and then huddle up with his buds at the Casinos. I know,Tesla is coming to the Reno area, costing us six billion in subsides, which will like most of these deals end up being paid for out of our Real Estate Tax's.
