I do think that this guy should probably go. But it makes no sense to have high turnover in the SS. I would think that would actually erode their effectiveness by limiting the number of highly experienced agents on the job.

It's not the president's job to oversee the conduct of every secret service agent. It's the head of the service's job to do that. Looks like this guy dropped the ball and I suspect a resignation is forthcoming.

But obviously both Bush and Obama were fine with his performance up to this point. I'm sure the president didn't see this one coming and I wouldn't expect him to. That's the whole point of delegating authority.
