(13,616 posts)though much of it was the GOP tryign to keep latinos from voting. The sad fact is, most of us latinos want to beacceprted for what we are, were and always will be, Americans. However, one too many of these elections where you win by cheating, and we will not cry if someone makes the fantasy of a reconqusita come true.

(103,856 posts)boring wins.. There was a time when flamboyance & excitement was enough, but the Puritans are pretty much in charge these days, and our icky media revels in every juicy detail until people choose boring...

(65,616 posts)But yeah, I expected the morans in my state to vote...sad that 99% of them vote against their own best interest. Oh well, I VOTED for her and I know others that did too...so when I hear complaints from GOPukers, I'm just going to tell them to talk to the hand.

And a picture of all their governors since (i.e. NOT INCLUDING) Ann Richards. Bush, Perry... now Abbott.
