(46,436 posts)but you know how it goes with Mark. I think he'll pick it up in the absentees. It's just like 2008. It'll probably be a while before we know. Walker/Mallott are ahead of Parnell, which is great. Forrest is doing surprisingly well against Don, although he'll lose.
But we're winning the pot, the minimum wage and and saving Bristol Bay and overturning Mayor Dan's awful AO37. It's just kind of weird that these things are winning and Begich is down. But like I said, I think he'll make it up.

(46,436 posts)and for what it's worth, I've been a regular pot smoker for decades. I've never missed an election, national, state or local, and I volunteer. Your generalization is off the mark.

(2,785 posts)to bad it means nothing with a Republican congress and senate. Only way to raise minimum wage at least for the next 2 years is from city Mayors.

(46,436 posts)but no dispensaries, so people either had to grow their own or get it on the black market. This measure legalizes recreational, as well, and sets the stage for businesses where people can buy their medicine/fun without the hassle.
