Is our Democratic leadership stupid or spineless?

Try though I might, both seem equally plausible. It doesn't take a god damn degree in political science to know it's fucking stupid to let your opponent frame the political discourse. Worst of all is the fact the Democratic leadership played along with it! What the fuck were they thinking when they ran from the President's record? Unemployment is 5.9%, we got Bin Laden, we saved General Motors and thanks to Obamacare no one can be denied coverage due to a pre-existing condition. There's plenty to be proud of, especially compared to when the Republicans shut down the government and cost the economy 24 billion dollars!

I find myself remembering a line from Aaron Sorkin's Newsroom. There's a scene where Jeff Daniels exclaims "You know why people don't like liberals? Because they lose. If liberals are so fucking smart why do they lose so god damn always?!"

At the time I first viewed that scene I thought it was bullshit, but now I'm starting to come around.

I wouldn't have been caught dead saying that before what happened tonight.

It was a tough map, but some of the losses are simply inexcusable.

about vote suppression, it seems premature or priority-distorted to be blaming the Democratic leadership at this point.

That said, I share your frustrations. They never seem to get the memo.

Some need to take a time out for introspection.....this lack of support by the far left contributed to voter apathy.....been saying that a long time...
