Because no matters the results she would have ended up victorious.
Would have been won media would have praised her and Bill zbout how they were efficient as guest stars on various Corporate Dem s campaingn trails.
Now that we lost she can now announce her 2016 candidacy in an even stronger position as the " only alternative".
We are stuck in shit anyway. ..

(2,992 posts)So give me an explaination on the fact that they spent the whole campaign trashing the current Administration, the very same that gave HRC a powerfull job witch was State?
Be realistic. On a strategic pow it s way bettee for their business to get a GOP Congress. So they can intruduce themselves as the only viable alternative.

Dont worry Im not really upset.
In fact I would almost thank you of your infantile behaviour. Necause it shows how low are able Clintonites to go , when it comes to pursue their goal yo take over the Dem party in favor of their little circle.

The clintons were total losers In getting out the vote.
Why should Dems come out and vote for her.The clinton triangulation aggres with GOP on endless war and economy
Nominate him and you risk Scott walker or Ted Cruz elected president In 16.Even if people got upset with Cruz or walker In White house we may have just elected a permeant republican congress In house and Senate tonight.

Florida is a right wing state, so is Kentucky. Maybe you didn't notice.
Please explain to me how a liberal is going to win those states.
I guess WI and MI were Clinton's fault too, though he didn't campaign there
The Democrats lost because people in Kentucky though there coal jobs were at risk, because Grimes was a delegate for Obama.
The Democrats lost in Florida because republicans regard Chrst a traitor, and not all Democrats embraced him.
Please educate me who this "WE may have elected a permanent repuke congress are? that is even more absurd. You do realize that in 2016 the republicans have around 21 seats in the Senate to defend. Congress has about a 19% approval rating.

It could be that Thirdway isn't a big draw for voters, though my money is on election fraud.

(46,709 posts)How ever the concepts were meant to be applied by true Thirdwayers, the principles just reduce to pure corruption in Florida at the local level. These locals are not sophisticated think-tankers. They just see things in primitive terms. If someone looks like they're being offered a bribe through a government program, they all want to be bribed. Though the socially acceptable term would be "inducement."
I bet Thirdwayers have very idealistic perceptions about what they're doing, but it's all translating to backroom politics at the local level.

(92,190 posts)predominately Democratic, but it hasn't been that for a long time.
You might be on to something about the third way.

(46,709 posts)Republicans have been steadily chipping away at the Democratic base for decades. Look at the history:
1) Black communities were targeted by the CIA with cocaine distribution and the Supreme Court passed laws that allowed police to suspend Civil Rights in high crime areas, making it most certain that a high percentage of Black voters would receive felonies, knocking them out as eligible voters.
2) Civil servants and now teachers are getting whittled down to the bone.
3) Republicans have successfully created white islands in the suburbs where it has been easy to shut down progressive voices and where they can create social networks with like-minded people that have learned how to scavenge off the system.
4) People are now more divided than ever, because we really do not have anything to unify us. Take the traditional holidays out of the picture and we really do not have much of a cultural identity that ties us together.
How do you beat this? Expose the true reason that Republicans always seem to vote against their interest. Here's a hint: They really aren't. They have figured how to redistribute tax dollars to their favored groups through a small government system that continually breaks the tenets of the Fourteenth Amendment. How are they doing it? They control the leadership positions in the community, and this allows them to control the information that everybody gets to hear--that includes talking trash about our president to weaken his ability to lead. If they control the information, they control the decisions.
And in small town communities, it's really that simple.

(46,709 posts)I remember reading somewhere how there is always a minority margin in every population that can see clearly what is going wrong, but the numbers are too small to organize and do anything to change the situation.

Florida is as screwed up, and is as red as they come now.
Whether Clinton went or didn't win, the results would have been the same, and Nate Silver indicated it also

(57,936 posts)This election outcome does not look good for them. It looks like they have utterly no appeal in states that aren't already solidly Democratic.

(45,485 posts)helping or celebrating the GOP victory. Why would she expend political capital to help candidates if she wanted them to lose? I know English is your second language and give you the benefit of the doubt since you seem to miss much nuance in our language, but this is total f'ing nonsense.
