The Democratic Party has become The Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight

I'm sitting here the next morning, watching Alien and feeling strangely numb.

What the fuck just happened last night?

The Democratic Party needs to have a come-to-Jesus meeting with itself, and heads need to roll. You see, this is what happens when there is no 50-State Strategy. Instead, we're bombarded with annoying e-mails that sometimes read like notices from bill collectors.

Chase Debbie Wasserman Schultz out of the top-dog position and bring back Howard Dean, for starters.

Revisit every aspect of our party platform, top to bottom, and ditch the dead weight.

Then dig in for The Troubles, because the next two years are gonna be a very bumpy ride.

Obama stands alone.

The Dallas County Democratic Party chased out its previous chair for doing essentially the same thing. Why can't the DNC?
