It was bad last night, but I have a feeling that the republican party will not be as united as the

media would like us to believe. I know the public's memory in this country is extremely short, however, the last time the government was shut down there was chaos within their ranks. It may be an illusion on my part, but I believe so-called unity will be even more disjointed, especially since some extremely unbalanced members will be joining their ranks.

No question, they will make things hell for the Democrats and President Obama, but I think they will self-destruct from within. They always over-play their hand.

A lot of Americans are going to feel a lot of pain because of what happened last night, and one has to wonder if they will finally open their eyes

down. It was the tea party verses the established republicans last time. The tea party was openly criticizing mcconnel and boehner for trying to come to an agreement.

Repigs govern only for their corporate constituency. That's how they get unity so easily. Their whole platform is based on undermining those they see as "other."

that it's the fault of poor people, liberals, minorities, women, and their fav Obama. On those principals it would be hard to come between them. On everything else they fight like two cats over a tuna sandwich. They have to it's in their nature to be selfish and cruel look at everything they are against and everything they are for. People with hearts that black can never conceive of doing anything for compassionate reasons or trying to reach a consensus. They would rather fight than compromise because compromise is weak.

Nothing will move forward, the GOP will prove inept at governing. Huge Democratic wave in 2016.
