The Right-Wing's platform was 1. HATE OBAMA 2. HATE OBAMACARE 3. I'm NOT OBAMA

That was it. They won with no track record, no legislative wins, no new ideas. Nothing. They had some natural FEAR with the Ebola crap going on. That is absolutely amazing.

Seriously. We live in a society where Kim Kardashian and Lena Dunham make front page news when they say something...anything. In the meantime the Right-Wing fascism machine is in the background purring away with the Kochs and other CEO billionares pulling the levers to create a government that simply benefits their business.

that 1 and 2 were implicit in their repetitions of "I am not Obama" and their refusal to mention him in any other context. Also, no boasting about Obamacare, etc.

It was a bizarre election.

The lack of a cohesive message by the left makes me think that the Party Leaders need to resign TODAY.

the GOP the right to redistrict for ten years? Oh, wait, that was to run for the Senate. Sorry.

The guy responsible for the 2008 victories was the one who resigned. Oh, wait, he was the one whom Obama fired.

Neither side did those things. Both ran on "I am not Obama," even though, for Democrats, that was a sure losing strategy. Democrats might be able to run away from the President, but they cannot possibly run away from their own votes. The only alternative is to point to their votes with pride and explain why those votes were great for America and what other great plans they had for America.

As I said, it was a bizarre election.
