Medical marijuana supporters fuming on social media

Since the majority of Floridians are in favor of legalizing medical marijuana, Tuesday night's results left 3,357,537 voters disappointed at best and furious at worst. Feeling their voices weren't heard at the polls, many of those voters took to Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites to blow off steam.
In the past day #YesOn2 has been used more than 10,800 times on Twitter in comparison to #NoOn2, which comes in at 700, according to social analytics site Topsy.

CNN analyzed exit poll data and it turns out that the 65 and older demographic was the only age demographic to have the majority of its members vote against Amendment 2 and since most grandparents stray from social media, it's no surprise that #NoOn2 is so scarcely populated.

"Thank you to all who supported #YesOn2. You all were amazing. We will win this war. This is just the beginning," Matt Morgan of Morgan & Morgan tweeted Wednesday.

(2,273 posts)I know Alaska, Colorado, Oregon and Washington are not ideal retirement communities like Florida but if people up and left that state and took their money with them I have a feeling things would change.
