One silver lining for me...

Okay, no getting around it. It was a tough night. It sucks big time. But I was thinking this morning:

2004 was a good year for the Republicans too. But right after that election, things quickly started going downhill for them with all the scandals that came out involving DeLay, Abramoff, Duke Cunningham, Foley, etc. and then we won big in 2006.

Isn't the John Doe investigation involving Walker still going on along with the Christie Bridge-Gate investigation?

So, yeah, that's one thing I'm reminding myself to ease the pain.

Also, I'm a PA Dem, so kicking Corbett out of the governor's mansion here was the big victory of the night in my view.

Anyway, I hadn't posted on this board in a good many years. Now I thought would be a good time to go back to it to in case there's anybody out there looking to hear some alternative views on the situation. I feel you need to take the good with the bad.

After 2004, it was a definite blow, but we picked ourselves up, re-assessed things, organized and came back stronger than ever the next time.

That's my two cents. For what it's worth.
