Last time I checked, the goal of the Presidential ticket was to win the election; not make the activists feel good.

Any suggestions?

Quite frankly, I'd rather not give up two Senate seats -- even in states like Vermont and Massachusetts.

Deploying one of them to a position of insignificance would be awful for progressives.

If there are no progressives in Congress, it won't matter WHO we elect. President Sanders gets nothing done with a Republican Congress.

remember 3rd way dems triangulate on success.

If Sanders or Warren succeeded and brought half a dozen lefter-er dems into the senate and a dozen or so representatives, the 'pragmatists' would suddenly be singing songs about unity, fraternity and equality.

And by campaign I mean try to get an actual position on the official campaign strategy team, bus tours and all. And I would try to make it permanent if they win the WH.

It's nothing more than wishful thinking. They would have almost no chance at being electable unfortunately.
