Tom -
On behalf of all of us here at the Ohio Democratic Party, thank you.
Youalongside countless other volunteers, friends, and alliesworked incredibly hard for our Democratic candidates this year.
Ohio Democrats must continue to be the voice fighting for middle class families and holding Republicans accountable.
We cant say thank you enough.
Chris Redfern
Chairman, Ohio Democratic Party

I wrote back and asked when he was going to quit.
BTW We have more Ds then Rs in Ohio burt you wouldn't know it. I swear the Ohio Democratic Party
must have some people working for the republican party. They are useless.

(64,933 posts)I moved back to Southwest Ohio about a year and a half ago. At the time, Kasich was considered vulnerable, and the Dem's put up the worst candidate for governor they could find. The guy was not vetted at all, and as a result he dragged the rest of the party down.
Can they not find viable candidates to run here? Every one on the democratic ticket here in Dayton lost by a 2-1 margin.
They all are running scared.

(70,504 posts)Former Governor Ted Strickland, Rep Tim Ryan, and former Sec. of State
Jennifer Brunner. Now with the radical gerrymandering most congressional
races are next to impossible to win but at least we needed to put up a fight ....
republicans voted to try to take away overtime pay in spring 2014 that alone
could have really hurt them ..... but in statewide races we had a much better
shot because we have more Ds then Rs in Ohio.
Kasich has tons of dirty baggage but our "liberal media" in Ohio helped to all
but guarantee his re-election. Also having Ed F all but quit the race in August
didn't help either.
BTW Dem. Jennifer Brunner won her race for judge in a day of overwhelming
repug wins.
Mark my words Kasich will be the republican nominee for POTUS in 2016.
