America Going Backwards.
Setting aside the idea that the electronic vote counting was the main reason republicans won so many seats, this is what America has decided our government is to look like in the near term.
What the vote says is: No more Obama, no more equality for women, gays, blacks, immigrants, or the disadvantaged. It was a decision for hate to rule; meaning, if you are not white, older, and in the male power structure, you are nobody, and shall henceforth again be relegated to being refused, denied and subjected to the current white man power structure. Simply put: Screw you little people, the mighty rule!
America is a nation built upon subjection and denial of the rights of those who do not fill the ranks of the powerful majority. Big Business and the quest for more money is what runs this country and if you do not bow before that power then you are worthless.
Obama's Hope for Change is now destroyed. It has been crushed. Victory for the powerful is once and again the idea which sweeps the land filling its cold hearts with hot hate.
All those Liberals hoping to have an America shared by everyone - rich and poor - have been defeated and now we plunge, once again, on a head long rush to ensure the rich and powerful always get their way.
Oh, there are some laws which will remain on the books, but in actuality will not be enforced or be allowed to control the agenda of the courts or the congress. Voter suppression runs amok, prisons will continue to be filled with non-violent criminals, medications not prescribed by powerful corporations shall be denied, polluting industries subsidized, bankers bailed out, and the military industrial complex enriched and strengthened.
America has had its say and it said: Screw you little people. We cater only to the high and the mighty. We love our bullies and our powerful and those who can buy elections via mass media marketing of lies.
What we see is a mass rejection and a massive negative reaction to sharing of power with blacks, women and any other minority which dares to have a voice in America. The rich and powerful have bought their way to the top and America has said their position is to be conserved.
If this trend continues we will have another Bush type in the White House come 2016.
