In 2008 the Democrats had strong majorities in both the House and Senate and won a historic election with the White House. In 6 years, despite their fumbling and bumbling, the GOP has slowly but surely chipped away at what we accomplished while we kept claiming that party was dying and going the way of the Whigs.
Everything we gained in 2008 is now just about gone.
This is the largest majority the GOP has had since World War II. This is the weakest the Democrats have been in the state governments since before the Great Depression! Republicans will control at least 65 state legislative bodies. The GOP has all US House seats in the state of Arkansas, the first time in 141 years. The Republicans have held the Florida governorship for 20 straight years, the longest streak since Reconstruction. Scott Walker in Wisconsin gets re-elected. We lost in Maryland...MARYLAND!
Does this sound like a party that is dying????????? Honestly?
Basically, All I am saying is to SHUT THE FUCK UP about the GOP being dead. They are not going anywhere. The Democratic party leadership really needs to get their heads out of the clouds and need to really get their shit together. Are these idiots still power drunk from 2009? Surprise Nancy and Harry....you don't control jack-shit anymore! Stop underestimating the enemy!
