I suspect coverage of these 2 topics will now decline but I am going to listen closely.

As long as the Ebola outbreak is ongoing in W Africa, cases will make it here. But, I do think the hysteria is over for that.

(46,416 posts)that doesn't help the Republicans' agenda of another large ground war and permanent occupation of Iraq. As far as ebola, no news really does equal good news. If someone does infected here again, it will come zooming back as a news story.

(115,677 posts)I posted a couple more threads too. It sounds like they are getting a bit of a reprieve in Liberia, but a new outbreak is happening in Guinea. But in the USA? election is over, no need to say who all is being watched, etc.

I thought reporting on those being tested was just plain old bizarre. Anytime someone who had visited W Africa vomited, it made headlines.
Go figure.
I find it absolutely disgusting that it was probably political.
