I wonder if news coverage about ISIS and Ebola is going to decline now that the elections are over (Original Post) Tony_FLADEM Nov 2014 OP
Not likely. Obama is asking for an IS war vote. morningfog Nov 2014 #1
It declined about a week before the election. At least ebola news coverage did cali Nov 2014 #2

There is going to be a debate on a war authorization.

As long as the Ebola outbreak is ongoing in W Africa, cases will make it here. But, I do think the hysteria is over for that.

that doesn't help the Republicans' agenda of another large ground war and permanent occupation of Iraq. As far as ebola, no news really does equal good news. If someone does infected here again, it will come zooming back as a news story.

I posted a couple more threads too. It sounds like they are getting a bit of a reprieve in Liberia, but a new outbreak is happening in Guinea. But in the USA? election is over, no need to say who all is being watched, etc.

Media conspiracy theories tend to sound pretty goofy. As long as the news can get people to watch by scaring the shit out of them, they'll do it.

Unless they test positive.

I thought reporting on those being tested was just plain old bizarre. Anytime someone who had visited W Africa vomited, it made headlines.

Go figure.

I find it absolutely disgusting that it was probably political.

sure don't hear much from Republicans about all the "voter fraud" being hatched up by Democrats.
