If you want people to vote in 2016

then clear the path for them to the voting booth. Cause right now, thousands and thousands of people can't get there. Voter rolls are purged. Robo calls telling them not to vote. Flyers giving them the wrong directions. Strong arming. Voter ID laws enforced even when the courts have overturned them. Voting places closed or moved for no reason and with no notice. The electronic voting machine effing fraudulent vote flipping, stolen tabulators and vote manipulation, delays in reporting results. Long, long, long intentional lines with uneffing believable waits.

If you ever want to win an election again, you had better address these issues now. Cause the other side just field tested their methods for blocking our votes, and their systems are all green, especially with Supreme Court support.

Oh, and you might want to give them something to vote for,too.

We have the brains. We can figure it out. They have pig castrators.

I fear that the opportunity was missed to do something about it.

4. It's not missed. Conservatives don't have faith in our election system either.

They don't like the electronic voting machines and don't trust them. That's one thing we do have in common with them.

In order to fix our election system we will need to stand with conservatives in demanding change. If it's a large and sustained movement there's a chance they will reform our system. They're probably not going to want all Americans standing together for too long on an issue. TPTB divide and conquer strategy has been unbelievably successful and they wouldn't want to risk all of the progress they've made.

Of course, it's been SO successful that the chances of us all standing together to demand election system reform might be minuscule in which case each side will keep blaming the other (i.e., the other side is stealing the election), and the system will stay exactly the way that it is (if not get worse).

Of course, election system reform will hugely benefit liberals, but I'll take the support of conservatives in getting the system reformed.

Edited to add: We'll have to fight them on voting rights issues, purging voting rolls, and all of the other nasty things they do, but conservatives would stand with us to reform our system in many important ways (paper ballots, term limits, campaign laws, etc.) and we should stand with them to get some of our system changed.

3. Fraud

So many Democrats were up in the polls, then lost the election, something STINKS. The dems. have to stop expecting repubs. to play fair, they can not win in a fair election. ALL dems. should be prepared way ahead of the next election, get I.D. cards and mobilize to help others to the polls. We are fast becoming a banana republic, with the people being ruled. How could ANYONE elect a person who wants to eliminate minimum wage, privatize schools, ship jobs overseas, make millions in profits from medications that save lives? Illinois just "elected&quot ??) a governor who does all of that. I repeat SOMETHING STINKS. Oh, and have the dems. rally around their President like the gop rallied around W wouldnm't hurt, either. President Obama managed to get the deficit down, unemployment rate down, stock prices UP, yet the dems. avoided campaigning with him. He drew large, enthusustic crowds when he did appear.
