Fox begins soft-sell of John Kasich for President

Just Re-Elected Governor, John Kasich Wants to Host ‘O’Reilly Factor’

"Bret Baier and Megyn Kelly interviewed John Kasich, a congressman-turned-Fox News host-turned Governor, following his re-election in Ohio. Kelly tried to get him to commit to even higher office.

“It wasn’t that long ago that you were at the Fox News Channel, everyone loved you,” Kelly said. “Now you go to Ohio. the people love you. Are you going to make a pitch on a national level and hope they love you and put you in the White House?”

Kasich: “What I’m really bucking for in the short term is to come back and host O’Reilly again at least once or twice. It would be fun. Tell O’Reilly I might be coming his way.”

“I think you’re one of the few people he actually would allow to take over that show,” said Kelly."

Fox loves this former Lehman Bros exec. And he will run, and he has a very good chance of winning the nomination, imo. He's done horrible things in Ohio, but he's dangerous ala Reagan. He can slash 40K+ firefighters/cops jobs, have unregulated fracking, restrict the Ohio EPA, end renewable energy programs, and be the leader of the only state that hasn't recouped the pre-2008 number of jobs in the state. Ohio is in the top five states with the highest air pollution and in the top ten with most polluted waters.

He's purchased by the Energy Industry.

But when Kasich talks, he sounds rational, smart, down-home, makes you feel safe. You want to invite him over for pie.

He's dangerous.

He's the obvious choice, particularly against Hillary. Get's to play the anti-DC card (Hillary can't), gets to claim executive experience (Hillary can't), puts an Obama swing state in play. If I were the GOP, I'd be clearing a glide path for a Kasich-Martinez ticket.
