The Democratic Party's shift to the corporate right

I remember pre-Reagan. This current party is unrecognizable comparatively speaking.

The American public is angry and confused.

Is it too late for a Democratic Party that returns to its FDR roots?
How can they considering the corporate takeover of elections and the media?

Is the darkest hour really before the dawn?

Gore Vidal said we do not.... contrary to popular mythology.... have a two party system. We have a ONE party system: The Money Party.

Comprised of two right wings .

He *probably* came up w. this BEFORE Reagan.... but so much the better for Vidal. It get's truer every year.

Personally, I'm not sure the DEM Party is completely un-salvagable nationally. It is in my state... so I pretty much don't support any of the DEM candidates at the state level. ( I'll except a few NYC locals and a couple upstaters that I know of.)

This next cycle should tell us a lot. Lots of us are NOT interested in supporting Clinton again. ( EITHER of them!)

If we don't get an "FDR-roots" sort of alternative in the primaries we'll start to build , I guess, on the Bernie Sanders model. (Dem Socialist Independent).

To provide an alternative. To the "two right wings".
